Ok I admit it, I have gone mad, totally, utterly, deeply. It happens sometimes when I find a new designer whose sense of style, craftsmanship and designs I fall head over heels in love with.
The last designer was ‘Wasabi Pills’ (I think I almost bought the entire shop) and the latest one is the aptly named ‘Legal Insanity’ who make the most delicious mesh clothing of scrumptious detail. This jacket comes in various warm, autumnal colour-ways which work really well, although I wish they did a couple in white or cream as that’s the shade I wanted for a planned frosty photo-shoot. The detailing in the jacket is exquisite with great textures, creating a lux leather look and feel, I love it!!! I only wish I could buy it in RL I would never take it off.
Then there’s the boots, well what can I say, another Redgrave love affair, I’ve lost my mind again.
These are LQmesh – a liquid mesh type with a fab quirky hud which is very similar in design to a well known fruit inspired smart phone. You can even choose the colour of the phone cover too. The hud gives a selected range of colours, leather types and textures but the best part is the dice shaped random selector. This does all the work for you and pulls together random combos of leathers, colours and metals which works really well. That’s how the boot colours in the photos were selected and I do like the cappuccino, cinnamon, choco, caramel combination it came up with. Each of which are some of my favourite spicy hues and flavours and remind me of all the good things of Christmas: mulled wines, boxes of chocolates, spicy mince pies, Tia Maria liqueurs…can’t wait.
So now my latest winter outfit it’s sorted roll on Christmas….have a good one.
